Sega has confirmed plans to delay the release of several upcoming games in Japan. Specifically, House of the Dead 3 for the Xbox has been pushed back until January 30. In associated news, Sonic Adventure DX which has previously been described as an enhanced version of classic Dreamcast platformer, is now scheduled for release in summer 2003 on Nintendo GameCube. Sega’s latest Game Boy Advance title featuring the blue mascot, Sonic Spinball Party, has also been delayed until summer 2003. Definitive release dates outside Japan remain undisclosed.
