I tried this game at one point and I don't think I even really did more than one stage, for which I remember getting a bad rating, a C or something l can't remember. But the moment Marine appeared on the screen babbling her nonstop constant nonsense Australian slang in which I never understood a word of what she was saying(and based on the dialog, neither did Sonic or Tails)...I instantly didn't want to play the game anymore. Marine is the only game character I've ever wanted to strangle just from an utterance of their vocal chords. I went through Slippy Toad, Navi, the Snotnosed Kid from Windwaker just fine......but Marine............grrrrrrrRRRRR. Why did Sonic Team put a character into a sonic game that only people from Australia would have any clue as was to what they she saying?!?!? Also I don't read very fast and the intro explanation dialog went by WAY to fast for me and if I want to know what happened, I'd have to look it up on the internet where as in the original Rush you went through all dialog at your own pace.

[...] However, speaking personally, the game never got so frustrating as to make me stop playing; just be ready to die and restart from a checkpoint at a moment’s notice and don’t be surprised if you actually see the game over screen a few times. If you’re the type to replay games you’ve already beaten multiple times, you owe it to yourself to muscle through Sonic Rush’s memorization requirements, as the game only becomes increasingly more endearing the more you play it. However, if you are the type that is easily frustrated, it’s probably a good idea to stay away from Sonic Rush - in its place, I would wholly recommend you check out the sequel, Sonic Rush Adventure.
