About using brawl mechanics...

Keep in mind that SEGA is also working on a Hulk game. Who knows, we may see those types of moves used for Were-Sonic. Also, Smash Bros. was done by Nintendo, but I do agree that it should be just as responsive, just don't count on seeing Brawl moves.

Just the fanbase bitching about trivial things that other people outside our circle don't even think about... again. How is it even news?

More than likely the day/night mechanic will be used for the times that Sonic is a Werewolf and when he is just himself. If Melee combat is used, I assume that sega is going to use sonic's fighting style from Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Maybe a little bit of Star Wolf's moves perhaps? And if there is fighting combat, then it has to be as quick and responsive as brawl. Lets hope that speed and combat are mixed fluidly between speed runs. Or is Sonic Team taking a little bit of combat from Sonic Heroes?

I do think they are doing a better idea than they had in the past, but I would like to see some depth in the gameplay like in the old sidescrollers. Going right all the time gets boring. Speed should be a reward, not a parlor trick.
