From the Out of Left Field department this morning, first details on a new preview of Sonic Chronicles in the latest edition of EGM.
The preview is straightforward–calling it a fusion between Super Mario RPG and Sonic 3D Blast–and has some tidbits of new information. Among them, this will be a turn based RPG, as opposed to the hybrid model that Super Paper Mario presented to Wii owners recently. And if you like dialogue, this game’s got it, in a system very similar to Mass Effect. But if you feel perverted enough to do so, perhaps you could talk your way into this:
Although we’re told the core story has a single outcome, trying out different dialogue options will unlock various side quests – not to mention a romance subplot, another BioWare staple. [....] Last we saw Sonic, he was making out with a human girl, and Bioware’s already shown a willingness to explore interspecies love scenes with blue creatures. So brace yourself for some potentially uncomfortable moments.
….Oh dear. That ought to make the Google Ads interesting.
We should note, Amy and Rouge are in this game. The time needed to process this without giggling like a schoolgirl may be a while for some of you. Don’t worry. We can get through it. You can vent in the Comments box below.
