Finally, a Release Date Months After Rest of the World

Europeans have been waiting patiently to get their hands on Super Smash Bros. Brawl.  Out in North America since last month and in Japan since January, the title has enjoyed record breaking sales, and gamers have enjoyed hours challenging their friends and complete strangers online.

Now, it’s time for Europe to get in on the action.

Today Nintendo of Europe announced Brawl will be on regional shelves June 27th, over three months after the American launch and about five months after Japan.  In the interim, Europeans still have Mario Kart Wii to tide them over off and online.  They received the release ahead of North America.
