What IS Sonic?

SEGA wants your thoughts on what Sonic is, and what he should be…

With two very big Sonic titles (Sonic Unleashed & Sonic Chronicles) that could take the series in new directions, Sega wants to know what Sonic exactly is from a fans perspective. The Sega America Blog’s SegaDawg has recently written a article regarding this exact question, asking for opinions from fellow Sonic fans:

But my question is, after all this blather (thanks for getting this far)… before you fire up your first game of Chronicles or Unleashed (or both), and pass judgment on whether or not it’s a true, fun Sonic experience — what IS Sonic?
