Mario & Sonic Sequel in the Works?

Andrew Paulson | May 13, 2008

Winter Olympics is rumored to be next for Mario & Sonic…

German website SEGA On has recently reported information on a rumored Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games sequel, though the website makes no mention of their source or where they received the information. Sega and Nintendo are currently rumored to be working on a successor to the very popular game, which is said to be based on the Winter Olympics this time. They also mention that the game might support the Wii Fit balance board, which would likely be used to control snowboards or other related winter events.

This is all just speculation so far, though it wouldn’t be a surprise if a Winter Olympics based Mario & Sonic game is released, considering the first game has continued to sell very well. Stick around TSSZ News’s Sonic Scene for more information on this rumored title.
