SA Spots from 90s mimic Jones Success of Today

In continuing the It’s Memorial Day Weekend, there will be no news, let’s fudge it spirit, we are trolling through the YouTubes to bring you an era in Sonic when everyone was at the top of their game–from the game developers to the creative team promoting releases.

Since Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull topped $151 million over its first five days of release, it made sense to follow up on the Sonic 2 and 3 promotional videos we posted earlier with two more videos of Sonic in…shall we say, an adventure mode of his own.

These were among the Japanese spots that ran promoting the release of Sonic Adventure. They showcase the Sonic plushies jumping into action, and riding the roaring rapids. Let’s see Harrison Ford do that. Oh, wait…he did? And he’s in his 60s? Well, shoot.
