Nintendo Channel Trailer Details Controls

With only about two weeks to go until its launch in Japan, Nintendo has finally revealed some details about the upcoming Super Mario Sluggers.

We have the trailer below if you want to jump right in, but it’s how that trailer was distributed–through the company’s own Nintendo Channel, direct to its Japanese faithful–that shows how committed they are to the new platform.

While long, the trailer shows exactly how to pitch, bat and perform special moves within the game. You’ll also note that the ability to play as a Mii character will be a part of the final product. As always, there will be an assortment of mini-games and other modes to choose from.

The game will be out June 19th in Japan as Super Mario Stadium: Family Baseball. There’s no word on an exact domestic release.
