Sonic World Adventure? Sounds like one of those educational cartoon movies where they have a random, dum character who travels the world for your education. These movies are lame, cheaply made and boring. Sonic Unleashed is a video game not a movie. Sonic is not dumb, that’s Knuckle’s job. Where as he cares for the safety of world, he does not care that much for your education.
Like Paul Street said, the “Unleashed” part of the title matches with the WereHog part of the game. Anyway he travels around the world in many, many Sonic games. Traveling around the world is nothing new for our blue hero.
If you ask me Sonic Unleashed sounds better as well.

The name could change as it has in the past. Remember Sonic Wild Fire was a pretty common name for Sonic and the Secret Rings.

I don’t think Sega could get away with calling a game Sonic Adventure 3 because the significance of such a title would be lost on many new fans with the last Adventure game being released ages ago (not counting Sonic Rush Adventure). Anyway, I don’t mind the Unleashed name because it fits the whole Were-Wolf angle they are pulling with Sonic.

I too hope it’s the name change, =D. I’d like to think this game is the next Adventure game, even if it’s a completely new plot.

I sure hope it’s true. Sonic Unleashed is an okay name, but Sonic World Adventure… that’s an awesome title! It makes me think, “Aw yeah! We’re goin’ on a huge adventure!”. Heheh.
