New Officially Licensed Sega Mega Drive Player

There are currently many Sega Mega Drive (Genesis for North America) unofficial top loaders in the market, so it comes to no surprise that Sega is releasing their very own. The Sega Mega Drive Twin Pad Player will be released next month in July, straight from Sega’s official China distributor, AtGames.

The product will give you the ability to play all original Sega Mega Drive (Japanese) and Sega Genesis (US) games, it’ll also come pre-loaded with 20 built-in Mega Drive games. Included in the classic-heavy list of Sega games are three Sonic related titles, Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine, Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic Spinball. You’ll also receive 2 six-button controllers with the package, which will be released in 3 different colors (black, blue and green) for $39.90 retail.
