Rumor: Trioxide to allow Console Playability on PC?

Marketing Survey Reveals Potential Peripheral

The name Trioxide came up in a recent marketing survey that has traveled Internet users of late?  What is it?  If reports are correct, it could be a tool to bridge the gap between PC and console gaming.

The survey claims that Trioxide will be able to allow users to play the latest console games on your PC.  There’s no indication what console games would be available to play, but the campaign looks at two versions of the concept–a $49 version and a $299 version, with the more expensive edition more indicative of some elaborate device involved.

We probably won’t know much more about this for a while, but keep in mind–bleem!, that old PC emulator that was sold in stores, was litigated out of existence.  It would be fair to assume a similar fate for Trioxide, should it ever see the light of day.
