Warned About Threatening Letter sent to Judge

GamePolitics reports that two U.S. Marshals visited the home of Jack Thompson on Monday.

They made the visit in response to a written letter Mr. Thompson hand-delivered to the office of Chief Judge Federico Moreno of the U.S. District Court in Miami regarding a demand for a hearing.  It read, in part:

We find yesterday that enemy combatants at Guantanamo are to get more due process from federal judges than what I am to have. I guess my “mistake” was not killing 3000 people to make my point…

I demand a hearing.

Thompson has written a second letter to Moreno about the matter, and has written an additional letter to the House Judiciary Committee demanding a hearing.

Where this road winds to is anyone’s guess.  We will keep tab of developments.
