Latest X-Play episode names Tails as the #1 video game sidekick…

The latest episode of G4’s X-Play TV show, which aired on the 19th, featured a top 5 sidekicks X-list. What may come as a surprise to some fans, especially Mario fans, Miles “Tails” Prower was named as their #1 sidekick. Luigi came in at what was likely a very close second place in the video game related list.

    Of course he’s #1. Luigi is really just a clone of Mario, always there, but not much to really show him as an individual on his own.
    Tails has always had his own spark, his own individuality, was his own person; so he complemented Sonic rather then acting as an unnecessary copy.
