Gamesman Chain Acquired by EB Games

NZ Indy Chain Gobbled Up

In New Zealand, there will be less of a choice for gamers to purchase their goods.

Independent chain The Gamesman has been acquired by the global EB Games chain.  The 8 store chain will join other EB establishments throughout the country.

No job losses or store closures are planned right now due to the acquisition.  GamesPlus, also locally owned and operated, submitted itself to EB acquisition last year.
