XBOX 360Anonymous Retailer Expects Drop before E3

The long rumored price drop of Microsoft’s XBOX360 may soon arrive, if you believe the Hollywood Reporter.

The organization is reporting that the drop will come shortly before the E3 Media and Business Summit kicks off on July 15th. If true, the price of the “Pro” model will drop from $349 to just $299.

The Hollywood Reporter cites a “major retailer” as its source, but did not disclose which retailer on request of anonymity.

There is no word on whether the Arcade or Elite models of the XBOX360 would see a similar price drop.
