$150 Needed to Keep Network of Sites Alive

You may disagree with the more adult overtones of Sonic Cult and its sister sites, including X-Cult and Hidden Palace, but they all have been key players in uncovering new information for Sonic fans, both for old and current generations.

In a week’s time, however, unless its large base of readers help out, that stream of information will at least be temporarily suspended.

Cult admin Sazpaimon posted his plea on the Sonic Retro forums:

Let me just cut to the chase: I’m broke. More than broke, I’m in debt. My bank account is overdrawn $250 thanks to the IRS screwing up the stimulus check I was expecting, and the server bill of about $150 is due soon (1 week). Obviously I’m not in much of a position to pay for this sort of thing at the moment, so I was hoping you guys could help donate in order to keep Sonic Retro, X-Cult, Hacking Cult, Hidden Palace, and the numerous other sites I keep online… online. How can you donate? A few ways:

1. Paypal, easiest method: Sazpaimon@sonic-cult.org is the address.
2. Paypal, yes again. If you don’t have a paypal account, but have a credit/debit card, head over to http://www.sonic-cult.org/index2.php and click the paypal button at the top of the left column. Select to continue without logging in, and enter your info.
3. Snail mail. If you don’t have EITHER, this is your only option. PM me for details on this.

At present, it’s known that $36.50 of the $150 needed has already been donated. Interesting to note…to the best of our ability, we can’t find similar language on the front pages of X-Cult, Sonic Cult…or even on the Cult’s forum system.

They’re beyond “adult.” More like… criminal.
