Get in On the Cheap…But There’s a Catch

The Tokyo Game Show is right up there with E3 (or what was E3) as one of the most sought after experiences for a gamer.  But where E3 is media-only, the Tokyo Game Show opens up its show floor to the general public.

Starting in the middle of the next week, the general public can begin to get their hands on tickets for the upcoming TGS.  The price?  Only ¥1,000 yen with tax.  That’s $10 with tax.  Seriously.

There’s one problem though–you need to be in Japan to get them.  They will be sold at Japanese convenience stores across the country.  There doesn’t look to be a way to buy them directly online.  Still, one has to wonder how long until a few souls looking to make a buck throw some purchased tickets onto EBay or Craigslist.
