First @ TSSZ: Sonic and the Black Knight Hinted In Last NP Issue?

Possible preview from the August issue of Nintendo Power hinted at this mystery game…

We all love a good rumor, and Sonic and the Black Knight is another interesting one. As we mentioned before, a possible scan of the upcoming September issue of Nintendo Power features artwork of Sonic holding a sword, revealing the name of a new Sonic game, Sonic and the Black Knight.

For those who remember from the August issue of Nintendo Power, they hinted at a top-secret cover story that is “fit for a king”. The preview picture features a glowing sword and what looks to be a blue outline of some sort of mysterious object, which could possibly be of Sonic himself.

For anyone wondering, this should all still be kept under the rumor category until we get official evidence. But we can always think about what we do know, and that this could likely be a Sonic and the Secret Rings sequel, just look at the title alone. If this is a sequel to Nintendo Wii’s last Sonic game, it’s a possibility it could be about another famous tale, such as Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
