WHOIS Entry Gives Significantly More Credibility to Rumors

We had a report come in just minutes ago claiming that the domain Sonicandtheblackknight.com is registered to Sega’s Japanese division.  We couldn’t find the information on ARIN, so we tried WhoIs.Net to verify the information.

This is what we found:

We checked on Ohta-ku…yes, it is a real place and not some spoof on the Otaku name.

Not only does this give us significant reason to believe the authenticity of the cover and, consequently, the existence of Sonic and the Black Knight…but evidently this domain was registered at the beginning of July, so Sega’s had this in the cards for quite some time now.  That makes us wonder why there wasn’t even a peep on it during the recent E3 Media and Business Summit.

Stay with TSSZ News for the latest information surrounding this incredibly polarizing rumor.
