PS3 Exclusive ‘Remake or Extention’ Announcement soon? Also Original FFVII for PSN and XBL
As persistent as Shenmue III rumors, talk of a new version of FFVII is never far away. It doesn’t help matters much when Square and Sony tease people like this but another source has recently come forward to reveal info on a ‘new’ FFVII game for PS3.
Final Fantasy VII will be getting a “new” version of the classic game from the massive franchise and it will be exclusive (for now at least) to the PLAYSTATION 3. It is unclear whether a new version will be a simple remake or an extension to the original like Crisis Core, and if it will be a Blu-ray release, or on the PSN.
Thats not all folks. The source also brings to attention a Playstation network and X-Box Live release of FFVII in it’s original state. This will apparently see the light of day before the year is out. But when will all this information be revealed?
…this info will be officially announced at either Square Enix’s August conference in Japan, or the Tokyo Game Show.
So… August or October. As aways with this sort of thing TSSZNews would like to point out all of this is rumor and speculation for now but we will be watching both Square Enix’s conference and the Tokyo Game Show to see if any of this turns out to be true.

Please be a remake :’((((((( pleeeeeease…. i just finished the PC ff7 today and a remake would make my life worth living… nothing else can…NOTHING >_<
Oh wow another …. Final … fantasy … 7 …. remake rumor…. Lets all get excited people. Every couple months this rumor goes around and what do we get from Square? NOT A DAMN THING. Its just another thing going around to get people’s hopes up. Believe me if i’m wrong ill be one of those people standing in line for hours to get it with you all, but chances are it just isn’t going to happen. Don’t get your hopes up like i have so many times like I have.
