Breaking Rumor: Shenmue 3 in Edge Next Month?

UK Magazine ‘Edge’ possibly hints at Shenmue 3 in next months issue
Only a week after being told by Sega USA president Simon Jeffery that “there are no plans for it right now.”, another Shenmue 3 rumor rears it’s head. This time it’s UK magazine Edge who are mking waves. The back page of the magazine always give a vague hint as to a feature in the next issue. Some are blatent featuring artwork for a particular game while others are a little more cunning feaing an obscure quote or image.
In the September issue of Edge, due out tomorrow (Thursday 31st June) The back page features what at first glance only appears to be a blank ‘notes’ page. However take a closer look in the background and in slighty darker writing than the page are simply the words:
“Shenmue 3, Believe”
Take a look at the image and let us know what you think in the comment box below. I’ll have full confirmation of the back page tomorrow when I get my hands on the magazine in question.
Please remember this is only a rumor and will stay a rumor until proved otherwise. This isn’t the first time something has appeared giving a glimmer of hope about Shenmue 3 and it probably won’t be the last. As always TSSZ News will be here to bring you the full story should anything come of this.

Holy crap! I see it! I had to tilt my computer a bit, but I see it!
Edge Magazine always ends it monthly book with a teaser of what to look forward to in their next issue. Well Shenmue fans are a buzz with the latest issue (#192) which seems to be a reference to an old friend of ours. I made this image so you guys can compare and draw your own conclusions ;p The left side is the last page of the magazine, the right is Ryo’s notebook. It’s true, at E3 Sega of America president did say there were “No plans for Shenmue III as of now”. But no one asked the if they were bringing back Shenmue I or II, something many fans of Shenmue believe must happen first.
Currently the fans in the forums speculate that this teaser page can hint at one of the following games:
1.Shenmue 3 (or Shenmue remakes)
2.Bully 2
3.Alan Wake
4.Hotel Dusk

Warning: There is a photoshopped picture of the magazine page that faintly reads “Shenmue 3 Believe” that many sites are reporting on. Someone has confessed to faking this page over at NeoGAF.
