Fan Flash: MegaMan 7 - NES style!

8bit MegaMan 7 unofficially comes to the PC.

Most gamers were either puzzled or interested when Capcom unveiled an NES-styled MegaMan 9 earlier last month; now, fellow Japanese gamers from the BBS 2ch have gotten together to make sure MegaMan 7 and MegaMan 8 “fit” stylistically with the rest of the franchise: by remaking each game as if it were created for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Recently, they posted a completed port of MegaMan 7, no doubt with the intent of moving on to MegaMan 8 next. For those of you who do not speak their native tongue, all you need to do is click on the “ver.final2 アーカイブ” link to initiate the download. For those of you with gamepads, this editor recommends using a program like XPadder to translate keyboard presses in to gamepad buttons.
