XBOX360 FFXIII Coming to…Taiwan

Microsoft Makes at Least one Asian Release Official

While Sony may have a stranglehold on Final Fantasy XIII exclusivity in Japan, that doesn’t mean Microsoft can’t ruin the company’s fun elsewhere in Asia.

The recent MS exhibition in Taipei, Taiwan brought news that FF13 will indeed be heading to the XBOX 360 in that country.  Localization efforts are still being worked out–all indications point to some sort of subtitle effort, but it’s unclear right now whether voice tracks will be in English or Japanese.

If it’s Japanese, an import effort for Microsoft faithful in the land of the rising sun is certainly feasible, rendering an indirect cheap shot to Sony’s efforts to keep FF13 on the PS3.
