Mass Effect Coming To The DS?

With BioWare bringing Sonic Chronicles to the DS, could Mass Effect be next?

Miles Holmes, lead designer of Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, recently said that BioWare is looking to bring existing franchises to the Nintendo DS:

“We have a lot of big plans for Mass Effect,” said Holmes in an interview with eurogamer.de, “having a DS version would be an awesome way to keep interest alive and keep it going in addition [to Mass Effect 2]“.

The developer is also considering a possibility of bringing Jade Empire, and Dragon Age to the Nintendo DS. Holmes describes Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood as an effort to get BioWare’s handheld division off the ground.
