SAGE ‘08: Mario Roots 3 Level Demo Available

There are more Mario fan games with each new SAGE, and as with the Sonic titles, the Mario fan games keep getting better with SAGE’s age.

Mario Roots is one such title.  The three level demo features a very rich, colorful detail to design, and judging from the looks of the video we have below, it plays very much like the pseudo-RPG nature of Super Paper Mario for the Wii.

The 15MB demo almost wasn’t going to be shown at this year’s expo, according to the booth.  The original plan was to hold off to October for a public unveiling.  Still, this demo allows a great opportunity to show off Mario’s various moves in the game, including multiple combo jumps, the headbutt move, and we even hear there’s some swearing.  Mamma-mia!
