Will Europeans Get the Game Next Week?
There is some dissention as to when Sonic Chronicles may make it onto European shores between Sega and UK stores.
Several media outlets are citing UK retailers and magazines which claim Chronicles will be out in stores next Friday, September 5th.
Meanwhile, Sega Europe’s site has been updated with a change in release–though it’s not far from the September 30th target other regions are sticking to. The official word sticks a release at September 26th.
So, which is it? It’s easy to take the word of Sega Europe as gospel, but this isn’t just one source claiming a date of the 5th. We’ll follow up on this information throughout the coming days.

Thought you guys might like to know Kevin/AAUK has updated the Sonic City Blognik and has responded to all the Sonic Chronicles release date confusion and confirmed that the game will be coming out September 26th. Guess we in Europe shall have to wait.

I had a look around Leeds and everywhere was saying the 26th still. There were no cases of Chronicles in my local ‘Game’ store, unlike yours Shadzter but even they said 26th. I don’t mind, I’ve got a half day off work on the 26th, woot!
