Known Sound Issue Persists for Mac Users
A bit lost in the melee of Sonic Nexus demo launch this week was the hope of a version for Mac users. That concern has now been quelled.
Yesterday the Nexus team released a Mac build, so users of that operating system can start playing and participating in the game’s time attack contest.
However, the Nexus team has advised of a problem with sound in this version:
There is a common issue involving sound effects not playing somewhat intermittently. If that happens to you, just restart the application. Maybe a couple times. I’m not sure. It appears to be related to the Mac equivalent of bass.dll
