Naka’s Next Project May or May Not Involve Penguins

Something is finally brewing with the creator of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sega has posted a new teaser site for Yuji Naka’s Prope project today.  There isn’t a whole lot to it, except that there’s a large picture of a penguin and the tagline “World first, the game that even penguins can play.”

There is some conflicting information on the countdown mechanism involved.  Some media outlets are reporting that we have 10 days left to see what’s up, but we see 17 days.  Either way, we’ll be sure to follow up on what Sega and Yuji Naka have in store.

    I was viewing the site at 11:44 and it said 10 days and I brought the site back up a minute later and the timer changed to 17 days. Guess the unveilings been delayed by a week. It look’s like they may bew showing a trailer because of the film reel icon next to the countdown.

    Yea! Heres hoping Yuji Naka can fill that hole sonic games are leaving in my heart these days.
