Green Hill Zone in LittleBigPlanet

It’s much better than that Mario level doing the rounds

Really it was only a matter of time but some clever person has recreated the Green Hill Zone, Act 1 & Act 2 in LittleBigPlanet. A lot of attention to detail has been added; check out the checkerboard motif on the floor, the various badnicks scattered around the place and more impressively is a motorized vehicle that pulls the Sackboy through some of Sonics more rollercoaster like moments.

The levels even have a loop-de-loop present and correct. Overall it’s a more fun effort than the Mario Bros 1-1 level created a few days ago. Should any other budding level designers give Sonic games more attention you can be sure to find out about it here.
