Yuji Naka’s New Game is…Let’s Tap

Wii Game Out in Japan in December

A bit overlooked with the DSi news and the first footage we’ve seen of Sonic and the Black Knight is the slow release of new information from Prope, the development house from Yuji Naka.  Its first title will be out next month, and it’s called Let’s Tap.

The whole of it, judging from the screenshots we have below, looks to be a bunch of minigames.  It may not be far fetched to believe the game will involve some sort of tapping motion to reflect movement on the screen. UPDATE: We are looking to at least one media source, Sega Nerds, who claim that the game may not utilize the Wiimote at all contradicting the earlier report (and indeed, the above screenshot); instead, the game could have Balance Board capability.  We will look into whether the game will include capabilities for one, the other, or both.

Let’s Tap will be out in Japan come December.  Take a look at the screenshots below, and keep checking back for more information.  We expect a more grand unveiling by Sega and Prope next week at the Tokyo Game Show–that countdown on the Prope site currently sits at 7 days.
