Sega Begins Calling; Fans Begin Sharing Details

The global art contest for Sonic and the Black Knight has ended, and already several individuals around the world have been contacted. A few of those who now know they’ve won are well known within the Sonic fan community.
Thanks to Sonic Retro, we have at least a partial list of winners. A couple of them even announced they had won on the board, claiming Sega had reached them on their cell phone.
Among the lucky few who will have their art as part of the Sega product is G. Silver, well known throughout the community and perhaps best known as one of the main faces over at the Green Hill Zone message boards. Other winners we know of thus far include Adamis and Purity, both Retro members and both European. Radrappy is also a winner, and DeviantART member Aedelthryd rounds out who we know thus far.
UPDATE: Though the full list of winners have yet to be announced, Svend over at The Sonic Stadium has revealed some of the European contest winners who are also SSMB members: Violet, T-Bird, Mahzes, ENVY16, Sock-fox, and Adamis.
If you’re a winner or know a winner, be sure to give them a shoutout in the comment box below. A big congratulations to all who will be a part of Sonic’s latest adventure for the Nintendo Wii.

Just for her bloody cheek I’ll give the first shout out to Violet from the Sonic Stadium forums. Congrats and all!
Hahaha, I just like playing hard to get ;).
I won too, yay. ^___^
I also know of evanstanley, chicaramirez and puritylf4, all of deviantart.com who won as well.
Awesome job on getting your work picked by Sega, can’t wait to see everyone’s artwork.
[...] We had some idea, at least within the Sonic community, as to whose work would be shown in the upcoming Sonic and the Black Knight. Still, Sega of America and Sega of Europe have taken the time to release a full list of the winners in the Black Knight art contest. All forty of them. [...]
