Game Close to Final Version
Remember Sonic Nebulous? It’s a Sonic fan game with some intense art direction, and it showed a lot of promise at this year’s SAGE.
This morning, the game’s creator, Ironrind, posted some new YouTube videos of what are expected to be the final two stages in the game–Abandoned Skyspy and Doomsday. He told SFGHQ forumers these stages are loosely based on the final stages from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and that Doomsday will be a series of boss battles covering the air and the ground with some storyline set in the SatAM universe.
Presently putting the game at 68% percent completion, Ironrind expects the upcoming version 4 update to be the final Nebulous build. Current tasks include code cleaning, setting a final character roster, and enabling multiplayer modes, including a three player simultaneous mode which you can see in one of the videos below.
Take a look at the two stages. We’ll let you know when we get word of Sonic Nebulous‘s final release.
