Guide: Limited Mazuri, No Empire City in Wii/PS2 Unleashed

Updating the story that Michael Bonawitz broke a few hours ago here on TSSZ News, we have obtained scans of the official Prima strategy guide for the game that show at least some semblance of Mazuri making it into these editions of Sonic Unleashed…but no Empire City level.

Take note of the scans we’ve uploaded below, with thanks to Hinchy at the Sonic Retro forums for providing the links.  You’ll see Mazuri is in the guide, with a boss battle as a subheader underneath.  So, it appears there will be some action with Mazuri in the Wii and PS2 editions.  However, absent from the table of contents is any mention of Empire City.  That looks to be an XBOX360 and PS3 exclusive level.

Also noteworthy in these scans is the inclusion of Eggmanland, so that will remain in the watered down version.  We’ve heard some comparisons of Eggmanland to a carnival and the old Stardust Speedway from Sonic CD, so that is something to get excited about.
