New Black Knight Screens

In the wake of Unleashed, SOE release new shots of Black Knight.
It’s easy to forget that there is already another Sonic game round the corner in the wake of Unleashed (I know I forgot about a lot of things this weekend from playing Unleashed). Well, SOE have sent us all a little reminder this morning that Black Knight is still on it’s way, and by the look of the screens that have been sent out it’s not looking too bad at all.
These are some great visuals from the new story book based installment. The screenshots feature some nice contrasting images of dark and light levels, including some nice looking sunsets and some lush looking green feilds. The shots also confirm the inclusion of Knuckles as a foe for Sonic in the story.

So thats how Knuckles looks like, looks interesting, though its a little hard to see.

This looks great! It’s like Werehog minus arm pain with speed! With Knuckles! Gotta see Shadow! The graphics seem to have improved a bit though…
Impressive! I am getting a feeling that this game will somehow be better than Sonic Unleashed.
BTW, how much do you guys wanna bet that the Black Knight/King Arthur’s persona is Dr. Eggman?

Well, Eggman was the persona of that king guy in Secret Rings. That’s why I suggested the idea.

It’ll be better than Wii Unleashed, since it’s designed for the system yet contains many of the better concepts from Unleashed(2D/3D transitions, unique wiimote controls using the nunchuk for movement and not tilting, open and bright worlds) while incorporating pure Sonic gam,eplay(albeit with a sword).
As long as you go faster than Secret Rings, it’ll be solid.
360 Unleashed is still better, though.
Nice! look like the graphics has improved, it look better then the first time I have seen it.
Verily, tis a ye old good tyme for a Sonic and Knuckles throwdown! Now with 99% moar swordplay!
The dual swords are awesome as I expected them, but why the helmet? Isn’t Knuckles’ head hard enough to deflect blows? XD
The game is gorgeous, utterly gorgeous. The villagers look a bit weird, but either that’s because they’re…placeholders or because they’ve been cursed. Anybody else see the resemblence between them and Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba?
Jeez, so many things look soo out of place for Arthurian legends. Railroad tracks, giant green trolls pulling huge carts, Knuckles with a scimitar, those little men in green hoods who remind me a little bit of Jawas…
Oh well, if the game is good, I won’t complain about the little things… After all, SR was based on Arabian Nights and we got dinosaurs in there too…

This is probably, hands down, better than Unleashed no matter what.
By giving him a sword and being able to not slow down while slashing (unless it’s a bigger and tougher foe), and Knuckles as a boss, this is going to be awesome.
