Sonic Unleashed Next-Gen Dated in JP

Tristan Oliver | December 4, 2008

XBOX360/PS3 Editions Out in February

Over in Japan, Sonic Unleashed, known as Sonic World Adventure, was given a much more substantial delay, and when that happened, concerns rose over the quality of the title domestic gamers were going to get this Holiday season.

A release date has finally been revealed on the World Adventure site.  While Wii owners in Japan still get the game this month, but XBOX360 and PS3 owners can get their hands on the game February 19th.

We’ll watch the Japanese release of Sonic Unleashed closely, as there still are some who think Sega will improve the game’s polish for the next-generation edition.  The recent rash of reviews have certainly not quelled those sentiments.

If SEGA is watching well, 43/50 fans would love Sonic Unleashed, the other 7 disliking the Werehog only.
