Unleashed Wii Drops to #30 Overall

News that has surfaced from Britain that is either somewhat reassuring or a bit troubling, depending on how you look at things.

According to Chart Track, the latest sales figures in Britain show that a Sonic title, in a way, is among the top sellers.  It’s not Unleashed, however…it’s Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.

The Wii edition featuring the dynamic duo hit #4 overall in software sales for the week.  Two other Wii titles, Wii Play and Mario Kart Wii, were #1 and #2 respectively.  Call of Duty: World at War for the XBOX360 stood at #3.

There is one version of Sonic Unleashed that did sell well.  The Wii edition ended up at #30 on the charts.  However, that’s down from #29 the previous week.

We’ll continue to keep tabs of all sales data we get regarding Sonic games.

A big duh in my opinion considering here in America, sales of most 2008 video games seem to slow down in recent times.
