That cover screams fan character even more than the regular Scourge.
I fully expected “ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL” to be watermarked over it.

    -oh. …yikes.

    Shaddup Nomad. Purple ftw

    Scourge likes porridge and lentils.

Scourge is yet another Sonic ripoff character. One of many Sonics, but not the real one. I bet he still ives in his mom’s basement. I bet he wears long underwear at night. I bet he’s still a virgin. What a pansy. His weakness disgusts me.

Someone make that hedgehog ‘tap out’. Please archie no more of the mobius/anti-mobius kibble. More Doctor Eggman blowing up stuff please.

It’s just- I mean, he looks SO much more like a fan character/ recolor now.. Akuma The Hedgehog anyone? Shade of red fur and you’re pretty much there. (For those unaware of who that is: http://www.mgcomics.com/AkumaTh/Cast/Akuma.html Yeah.)

I guess at the very least it’s not another shade of urine yellow but… Eehh.

I dunno, something about this just doesn’t rub me the right way. I do however like the black and red eyes, but that’s about where it stops for me.

D’ah well, least the writings decent. :p

Okay- you know- looking back on the last page of 195, I’d say it’s the coloring here. Very flat and bland. Herms could have pulled that off a lot better. Black aurora around him…. something that would make him look more- well, super.

The evil freedom fighters look so absurdly stupid, they were originally joke characters when the comic didn’t take itself seriously.

The last time I read the comic when Ian acted like he was going to reset everything and get rid of half of the cast and Eggman was going to be a threat again, then the next issue said “PSYCHE”

Eh, relax, the arc appears to be reaching a climax, so it should be over soon enough.

But then there will be more spin-off comics.

  12. Dr.Eggfang on January 9th, 2009 2.07 am

Banish them all to the spin-offs.

  13. wolly da wanderer on January 9th, 2009 4.43 am

@ Dr. Eggfang Yep spin offs *brings kerosine and matches*

  14. NintendoBrad on January 9th, 2009 3.42 pm

It looks like someone’s fancharacter is about to fight a depressively drunk Sonic.

  15. =Nomad= on January 10th, 2009 10.00 pm

    ^Basically it.

Also: At least Sonic Universe won’t be a crappy comic based on a crappy TV show.

    Whine, whine, whine
