Played the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed and want to skip those pesky cutscenes on the Xbox 360?
This may not be news to some, but it seems quite a few (including some unnamed reviewers) who have played the Xbox 360 version of Sonic Unleashed haven’t the slightest idea on how to skip the game’s many cutscenes. Don’t worry, you won’t have to hold a 7-button combination on the controller as if trying to unlock some cheat codes from Syphon Filter 2. Just tap the start button 3 to 4 times during the cutscene and you’re home free, especially useful for those who played a different version of Sonic Unleashed first and already know the storyline.

lol I find this out after beating Eggmanland and completing the main story.
Oh well, no harm done.
God, there’s no telling how many idiots held the start button down once and proclaimed, “UNSKIPPABLE CUTSCENES? IN MY SONIC GAME? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF”.
8P
SA1 on the Dreamcast had unskippable cutscenes.
Yea i figured that out by pressing all the buttons during the cutscenes lol
Wow, must be a slow new day.
The cutscenes in this game were actually pretty good this time around. I wish there were more of them, as some of them were pretty funny.
I wasn’t upset, unskippable cutscenes are common….when I press start I assume that it’s unskippable.
lol @ SonicForTheWin. I agree…it’s sad that people couldn’t figure that out.
This isn’t even weird news, it sounds like something I could find on a gaming site.
How is it sad to not assume that if pressing start fails to skip the scene, multiple presses will do the trick? I hate mashing buttons for no reason.
You can skip cutscenes once you’ve already gone past zem, even before you beat ze game.
