“Death to Analog” Release in March, Online Event in Feb
Julien-K may not immediately be familiar, but many in the Sonic community know of the group’s work.
The alternative band, led by Amir Derakh, produced the theme of the Dark Team on Sonic Heroes, called This Machine. They also tracked Waking Up on Shadow the Hedgehog.
Now, they are getting ready to venture more into the mainstream. Julien-K’s first album, Death to Analog, will be in stores March 10th. But before that, they’ll be doing something a little extra on the day analog actually does die–analog TV, that is.
The date of the US digital TV transition, February 17th, the group will be putting some pre-release material online to celebrate the pending release. It’s not clear whether that will include new tracks or something different.
