Relayed to me by commentator Guy Incognito comes this image of what seems to be Sonic’s “Super” form for Sonic & The Black Knight – Sonic decked out in shining golden armor.
“I’m surprised they’re already revealing that.” I told him. “That’s what I said,” he responded. Checking TSSZ and other sites, I browsed the new SBK screenshots and watched the trailer, but I did not see hide-nor-hair of Golden Knight Sonic anywhere. When I pressed Guy Incognito about the origins of the screenshot, he had said it came from a mutual friend (one who was not online at the time) and that he had no idea where the original source was from.
Obviously, considering that, the origins of this screenshot give the impression that this may, infact, be a hoax – but if you had to ask me, the quality of the screenshot is polished enough to look legitimate. Until we can get a source on where exactly this image originated, however, this will firmly remain a rumor.
Stay tuned to TSSZ as we try and figure out where this came from.
UPDATE: Thanks to Shadzter in the comments, we have learned that this image comes from the North American version of the new SBK trailer. Up until now, the only differences between the North American and International versions of the SBK trailers was the music (NA territories get an instrumental-only version of Knight of the Wind, whereas everybody else gets a vocal version), and this marks the first time there have been noticable differences in actual trailer content.

Huh. That’s weird. I watched the new trailer at GameKyo and it wasn’t in there. Must be exclusive to the American version of trailer (with the instrumental version of Knight of the Wind).
I should dub him: Paladin Sonic.

If that really is Sonic’s new form(I wouldn’t count that as a super,its just the armor that may or may not be super powered)then its automatically one of the worst forms ever.
Looking at the trailer again it still surprise me how bland and lifeless the environments looks so far.
Meh, you idiots can think whatever you want to think about that. BUT HELLO! Sonic and The Black Knight! Knight’s have armors! And the style of the armor fit, it’s hard to make a armor to hadegehog you know. And he probably use some kind of power(Something like chaos emeralds or something) to give the armor power. Instead of just say that everything is bad. Shut up and wait until the game comes out.
But you can have your opinions, everyone has their own opinion. I just don’t like when people say bad stuff before they tried the game. Of course you can think that the Super form is horrible, but this is just trailer.
The thing I don’t like with the american version is that they use the instrumental version, it dosen’t fir in to the trailer. The japanese one i much better!

So? They could have done just fine with the sword only. That armor is just embarrassing IMO.
But I should have seen something like this coming with this game’s medival theme and all that.
And its not really that hard to make armors for hedgehogs, it just depends how it should look.

It’s funny how Sonic himself isn’t really super. Just his armor. So does this really count as a Super form?
Also still think Unleashed looks better. One thing I wish Sega would do is have an official in game model for Sonic, which they should use the model from the 360 version of Sonic Unleashed. It looked so good! Sonic and the Secret Rings model only looks good sometimes though.

I am the number one Tails fan and I also have sonic and the black knight. It is AWESOME!!! I recamend it to anyone… and oh, yes I LOVE TAILS!
the golden armour sonic is infact sonic’s newest super form and in this form he recieves the legendary sword excalibur and the 3 loyal soldiers that served dark arthur their legendary swords are infact the keys on how sonic actives sonic golden armour with excalibur you get to play as golden armour sonic with excalibur on the final boss only just like with all super forms
