Mecha Madness: Concept Art, Another Demo

Fight along side Tails against the “Bladewolf” Boss

The updates continue for Streak Thunderstorm’s Sonic fangame, “Sonic: Mecha Madness“. First up are two pieces of concept art, for Platinum Sonic and Gold Sonic. Quoting Streak directly,

“I’ve decided to take my old rendition of Mecha Streak and edit it a little bit. My rendition will be the design for Platinum Sonic. It’ll be edited from this, of course to look a little more bulky and powerful.”

Regarding Gold Sonic, Streak says…

Gold Sonic will be an old mech that one of my friends on DA drew. I colored it for him. I’ve been looking through my art and whatnot and I saw this. I’m sure he won’t mind as well. These two will be very badass. Lmao.

Mecha Madness takes place after Sonic 3. but in no real correlation to the canon storyline [because what is that anyways?] so by common sense, if you build a robot who’s pretty damn good [in Sonic 3] and it gets destroyed, you’d want to make more like it but modify it, no? I only named Gold and Platinum after the silver series. The name is as close it gets to the silver series though.

Finally, just yesterday, Streak posted yet another demo for Mecha Madness on the SFGHQ forums. More of a test than anything else, this demo pits you and an Artificially-Intelligent Tails against a boss called BladeWolf. “Consider him one of the final and hardest bosses there will be.” says Streak.

Think there’s a fangame out there worth covering? Send us a tip about it – who knows, we may even end up covering it here on TSSZ.
