Details will Make You Black and Blue
Nintendo has just released launch details on Nintendo’s DSi handheld console, and it’s coming a lot sooner than anyone expected.
The system will launch April 5th for $169.99. Consumers will have a choice of a black system or the new blue system at launch. However, it doesn’t appear the ivory white color, currently available in Japan as a choice with black, will initially be available.
Along with the console, Nintendo will launch DSiWare for the system, with titles starting at 200 Nintendo points, the equivalent of $2.
Originally, expectations were that Nintendo would launch the DSi well into this year. As it stands, Nintendo faithful are less than two months away from a new console.

And i guess this means that nintendo is officaly done with the gba game if there getting rid of it for no reason, its just another friggin case of nintnedo of trying to attract casual gamers…….retards
I wanted to buy one before, but I wait for next big portable console. And if I buy a DSi I can’t buy Sonic and the black knight, The conduit and Wii sports resort so I wait some years to the next one!

Anyway I think it’s a nice thing for nintendo. I mean I would have wanted a whole diffrent system then the DS but eh this works too.

I only have 3 GBA games that I no longer play, and I’m pretty psyched to have better Wi-Fi and downloadable games. And a Picture Editor (won’t need the camera, but I’ll be able to add Mario caps to everything now
) and MP3 Player. With pitch and speed adjustments for the lulz. And that animation thing. And now I won’t have to pay for crappy internet (it’s still probably crappy, but it’ll be there if I need it).
Don’t get me wrong, I see what you mean about Nintendo not moving on, but I’m seeing much more positive than negative. If you really want to play GBA games so bad, wouldn’t it make sense to just get an SP for like 10 bucks?

Really, the only bad thing from that (from what I can see) is not being able to play Guitar Hero OT (which I don’t own). So what the camera’s unnecessary, there’s also improvements you’re (most likely purposefully) leaving out. Bigger screens, SD slot (it’s called homebrew; I’m pretty sure somebody will eventually have a remedy to your little GBA problem, possibly even Nintendo themselves), better Wi-Fi… I said all this before.
Can someone please prove the GBA slot being removed is a serious problem or provide me with a good reason why this should be skipped over (that isn’t “It’s the same crap”)? Because, again, from where I stand there’s more positive than negative.
I totally buy this and I heard you get free DSi (or whatever the hell it’s called) points if you buy it in the 2 months it is out, also I don’t really play my GBA games that much anymore and I still have my GBA SP, so losing that really isn’t a big deal.
I thought it was known that Nintendo would release DSi early this year.

i must say this the Black one is better in my opnion because the Blue one is like Light Blue i saw it on Gamestop Website and it well probally get to dirty as well like the White one this is what i hate with the Ds Systems they make because like omg and i might get this but there isnt many updates and a major cool update would be if they had Wifi built in it without a Axcess Point
