SSMB Re-Establishes Thread for Fan Submissions
There are more signs that the Sonic Stadium is returning to normal. Sonic Relief, the charity fundraising drive meant to coincide with Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day, has re-established itself on the current incarnation of the Stadium Message Boards, and your contributions are being taken.
Sonic Stadium reporter Shadzter confirmed to TSSZ News yesterday that SSMB forumer MK Skillz opened up a new forum topic. MK Skillz originally conceptualized the idea.
For those unaware, each fan submission to the thread by next Friday will result in a 50 pence donation to Comic Relief. That’s about 71 U.S. cents for each fan art, video, or other example of fandom. Other SSMBers have promised their own donations. Sonic Relief was one of the last major initiatives announced by the Sonic Stadium before much of the site and all traces of the original message boards were wiped out earlier this week.
Your fan submissions to Sonic Relief are encouraged and much appreciated, as its success will be a part of the Stadium’s rebuilding process.

Yes, Sonic Relief 2009 is indeed back up and running!
As the founder of the project, I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who has entered so far and to everyone who plans to enter – I never thought Sonic Relief would get this big!
Big thanks to the people who plan to donate as well, especially Shadzter who has effectively been my “partner in crime” in this. If it wasn’t for him… well, this thing probably would never have happened!
So yes, keep on entering and I can promise you some exciting new Sonic Relief announcements very soon. Stay tuned!
