Major Sonic Merch Giveaway at SF Cherry Blossom Fest

300+ Items of Sonic, Sega, NiGHTS Stuff up for Grabs

If you live in San Francisco, you may be well rewarded for checking out the 42nd Annual Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival, going on this weekend the city.  If you live in California or are generally close enough to the city, it may also be worth the trip for Sonic and Sega faithful.

That’s because Sega of America will be on hand to give out more than 300 pieces of merchandise–some never sold before.  We have some photos of the swag up for grabs below.  All you have to do, according to the SoA blog, is some Sonic cosplaying–or simply wear a Sonic or Sega T-shirt.

There will also be a trivia contest Sunday at 3PM at the Sega booth.  The winner will receive a rare Sonic T-shirt and 10 recent Sega releases, including Sonic Unleashed and Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection for the PS3, Sonic and the Black Knight for the Nintendo Wii, and Sonic Chronicles for the Nintendo DS.

If you’re not interested in the trivia, there’s always the North American public unveiling of Let’s Tap for the Wii, which is ready for your tapping consumption.  But surely all the stuff below is tantalizing your inner Sonic fan…right?

The Cherry Blossom Festival is being held in San Francisco’s Japantown section.
