Once Great But Yu Sazuki Gone and Sega in Shackles?
If you’re bored over the next couple of days and fancy a long read to occupy your time then IGN’s recent article on the ‘History of Sega’ could be well worth the read. Clocking in at a whopping 11 pages long the retrospective goes into great length explaining a great number of things about the companies past with pictures and interviews from industry insiders.
Covering all of Sega’s life from it’s early years IGN show some consoles that predate the Master System before detailing their rise to power, how Sega, like Nintendo, let a chance of working with Sony on a new consoles slip from their fingers and their ultimate demise.
IGN are especially grim at the end of the article describing Sega as “not dead, but they may be in shackles” citing the lack of quality games in recent years after a number of industry legends left the company like Yuji Naka and Yu Suzuki…
…Yu Suzuki who still works at Sega that is, as reported on here by TSSZ News. IGN have repeatedly claimed the former AM2 head honcho has left Sega despite a very recent news story to the contrary and refuse to correct their error. IGN also fail to mention Sega’s rise and continued success as a publisher.

Sega have been producing a decent amount of quality games out yearly. The problem is that there don’t seem to get a lot of advertisement and/or are mostly ignored. Besides games can sell well regardless pf quality anyway.
Wow. Reading this just shows me more on why I loved SEGA in the Genesis days. Their business attitude back then also brings the creation of Sonic more to life.
SEGA should partner with Microsoft/Sony and go back into competition and killing Mario.

@shadow111: I think it means the igahnuh reporters are as wacky as some of their game reviews… whats with this ultimate demise thing? Is the igahnuh reporter talking about the drop in quality of some games or some foreshadowy prediction that sega will soon be out of business?

I haven’t read it but if I hear something about that IGN talks about SEGA it is more like:
They show some console and talk about how bad Sonic is and how unbeliveable deprressed those idiota are after a Sonic game like the first one.
But I’ll read this stupid pice of crap anyway, I have nothing to do at the moment so why not check what unintresting stuff IGNorant talks about. They always nugging about something that is bad and that’s not intresting to hear about.
IGN is a cople of losers. When they were bashing Sonic fans. Haha, they are adults. But you can’t count them as adults if they say stuff like: I hope you and your family die in a fire!
I hope someone destroy IGN one day or shot the heads of the idiots on IGN. Or someone can make them get their selfs a life.
