You Could Move Unleashed Along as Ultimate Game of the Year
For all the negative publicity and reviews Sonic Unleashed received in the mainstream press upon its release, and all the conflict that erupted over it in the community in the days and weeks that followed…wouldn’t it be hilarious if the game was given a glimmer of praise like…I dunno, Game of the Year?
Fans have that opportunity to push that game and other Sonic titles closer to such distinction with Future Publishing’s 27th Annual Golden Joystick Awards. GamesRadar, CVG, and Edge co-sponsor the awards.
You can go here to vote, and there’s plenty for Sonic fandom to vote on in multiple categories–including, interestingly, re-releases of Sonic the Hedgehog–it’s most likely this is in reference to the recent retro re-releases of the original 1991 classic on XBOX Live, Wii and the like. But keep your eye on the prize–with your help, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, Sonic Unleashed, and Sonic and the Black Knight, could be pared down and in the running for The Ultimate Game of the Year award.

Sonic Unlished MUST become game of the year! Because it’s actually game of all time!
Im not sure what the Nintendo “Sonic The Hedgehog” is. Come to think about it, I dont know what they meant by that for “soundtrack of the year” or “family game of the year”. After all If they mean the Sonic 1 on the Megadrive it came out when the Wii came out. If they mean Sonic ’06 it came out in 2006. (And would never be voted for any good prize)
The only thing I can think of is the Game Gear version and I can’t really believe that that is in soundtrack of the year!
You forgot The One to Watch Category with Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games
and also Multiplayer Game of the Year with Sega Megadrive Ultimate Collection (or as it’s known in the states Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection)

This will be hilarious if Unleased turns out to be Game of the Year…. But if it does, then I will hug the computer, shout for joy, and be happy.

Sonic Uleashed MUST win soundtrack of thte year, it kicks ass. But it for best game of the year, HA hell no, it barely qualifies as a Sonic game alone, there are so many games that beat SU out of the water I dont feel like listing them all here.
I guess I’ll vote for SU, but if Madworld is there, guess which one gets my vote.
I’m not going to help bring any of these new crappy Sonic games to any award-status. None of them deserve anything.

While I disagree with serpx as much as you do, nostalgia, believe it or not, isn’t the only reason to dislike the newer games.
I reckon I’d jump over the moon if SU could win! I doubt it but I reckon it’l slap some reviewers in the face it manages to get nominated lol

Out of all of this, the only one i can see Sonic Unleashed realisticly is Soundtrack of the year and maybe family game of the year. I would laugh if black knight won anything.
