New Concept Possible for SAGE 2009
When Streak Thunderstorm’s Mecha Madness fan game project was declared dead in March, he did leave open a little glimmer of hope amid the disappointment that development could restart. Given that many key elements of the project had been corrupted, doing so would have required a complete reset of the project.
That is exactly what Streak announced Saturday morning at the Sonic Fan Games HQ, to the cheers of many of his peers.
His words announcing the Mecha Madness revival were terse, but they opened the door to something being shown at this year’s SAGE:
I’ve been working with an old backup I had of the engine. It doesn’t have MKIII or any of the helper stuff. Anyways, I fished through the objects and coding and found what corrupted my file. I deleted the mess and started working again. Lots of progress. Hopefully I’ll get something done by SAGE.

I work my ass off for this thing. Hopefully the fact that it’s back to life and working well will keep me motivated to get back into the old work regimen I used to have. I’m also open for any help anyone can offer. It’s a big project and I really want to get it done.
Only concept art in pencil has been shown off for the moment, but even that has left many excited. TSSZ News will continue to keep you informed of Mecha Madness developments in its new incarnation, including its possible appearance at this year’s Sonic Amateur Games Expo.

I hope he trys his best on the game … I can`t keep my eyes off that Metal Super Sonic
