M&S Olympics Rises in Top 10
Now it’s just getting ridiculous.
Sales of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games actually rose last week, meaning the title’s position in the Chart Track multiplatform top 40 was bumped up a couple spots–from ninth to seventh. The game is beating Wii Play, which dropped five places last week from the number four spot.
Sonic Unleashed is also holding its own. Though its position in the top 40 dropped a single spot, that still means the combined sales of all four titles helped the game maintain a spot at #15. Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection, known in the states as Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection, also rose a spot from last week, from 25th to 24th.
Wii Fit remains the top selling game in Britain.

All my friends sort of jut nod their heads and turn on their selective hearing technique whenever I get ranting, but I’ve infected basically ALL of my sisters friends. It’s kinda cute actually.

Seriously, I’m willing to bet they’d name a city after Sonic. That’s just how awesome Brittain is.
Most people here in GREAT ol’ America could only think about Halo and fricking God of War. Even 6 year olds have played GTA.
My country is so fricking corrupt that it scares me sometimes.
This should also tell SEGA something. Their so called “young audience is beginning to slip away and go off to play GTA because of their lazy parents. Seriously, I’m beginning to think maybe SEGA might know their audiencec all that well. Because most of them? They’ve most likely played GTA, and they want SEGA to be mature. As for me? Treat it like SatAM so everyone can get into it.
But yeah, beside that little rant, Brittain is the best place for Sonic, and Wallace & Gromit fans like me. Too bad most of the world can’t express more love for the hog.
