17 New M&S Winter Olympics Wii Screenshots

winterolympicsFirst Look at Dream Stages

Though a lot of recent attention has been given to the upcoming Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, Sega’s other major title is on the E3 show floor, and that’s Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games.

Sega hasn’t forgotten the game that’s likely to sell millions when it’s released this Winter, and it’s given the press some new information and screenshots.  The ones below are from the Wii edition, and have a first look at the game’s “Dream” stages–these are the levels that deviate from the standard Olympic setting and allow for more creativity in design.  The material spans across Dream Ski Cross, as well as Ice Hockey and Figure Skating.  You’ll see Metal Sonic in full force in the shots below, as well as the other newly confirmed character, Donkey Kong.  Interestingly, though the Wii does not support true HD, the screenshots are in 1080p caliber resolution.

TSSZ News also has new screenshots from the DS version of Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games, including the much talked about Adventure Mode.  We’ll be posting those screenshots shortly.
